Hi, one of the news features of the STEP 7 V13 is the possibility to read the FB name/number and the instance DB name, with the instructions. One use possibility is to use these names in WinCC pictures to identify controled objects, withlow engineering work. In the follow sample program it is used to add text to alarms (I know that there is others ways to do it). Together with the program there are also some printscreens. TIPs: The block uses Wstring (not String). To call the block, place a empty block (the block with "??" on palete),type "Get..." and browse the instruction/block.
