TIP: STEP 7 V1X configuring the ET 200SP TM Count 1x24 as High Speed Counter (HSC)

The module ET 200SP TM Count 1x24 (6ES7 138-6AA00-0BA0) could be used to count high frequency signals (200kHz, in quadrature up to 800kHz). It could be configured in several ways. One of more simple is with the help of count technological objects.

The follow attachment contains a cast and an sample program (V15) that explain how to configure it.

The same principle could be also be used for S7-500 TM modules.
