Hi, one of the innovations of the SP1 for STEP7 V12 (Released for Delivery at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/76276623) is the possibility to use FBs, FCs and PLC User defined types as library types. With this, it is possible to centralize changes and control versions. |

After editing, it is interesting to check the consistency. For the changes be accepted is necessary to release the version. If you give up to use it is necessary to discard the changes. By release version you can specify a new version number and (optionally) set to deletion of old version of the block. Once released, you can upgrade projects or libraries. To add a block to a Global library as Type it is just necessary to drag and drop it from the Project Library. It is not possible to drag&drop it directly from the project tree.
