TIP STEP7 V13: Commissioning of S7-1500 by several persons simultaneously

Hi, With the new S7-1500V1.5 / STEP 7 V13 up to 5 users can monitor the program at the same time. (CPUs <= 1513 up to 3 ES-Clients, all CPUs >= 1515 up to 5 ES-Clients). To do it, each user should have save a copy of the project in his PC. One block could be accessed just for one user per time (it is not possible that many user monitor one specific block simultaneously). Each time that one user download a changes in one block the other users will become an indication that the block differ online <> offline. The other users could synchronize the changed block with his program, for example comparing online / offline and uploading the differences. Example if: User A changes a block A, User B monitor block B User A download block A … Block B is show as different online <> offline for User B. … User B compar eonline <> offline and upload changes Then Both users are the same program (as on CPU). Before a download the STEP7 checks if there is differences online <> offline and suggest first a synchronization. if: User A changes a block A, User B monitor block B User A download block A … Block B is show as different online <> offline for User B .… User B changes block BUser B starts a download of block B … STEP7 ask for synchronization;UserB to confirm STEP7 synchronize (i.e. upload block A) and download Block B … User A has Block A and Block B online=offline BlockA is show as different online <> offline for User A. … User A compare online <> offline and upload changes Then Both users are the same program (as on CPU).

How do you throw out the other user? After a hang-up when downloading, forcing me to ctrl-alt-del & killing TIA. my 1500plc says that another user is monitoring two of my blocks.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
