TIP: STEP7 V13 SP1 and online backup with load a complete PLC dump

Hi, Preconditions: STEP7 >= V13 SP1 CPU S7-1500 FW >= 1.7 (http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/106192301) TIP: Upload / download are just possible with STEP7 in offline mode and with CPU in STOP. To upload select the PLC and with right mouse click select the option “Backup from online device” (or from menu Online). The file is saved at Online backups folder, with time stamp at the name. To download select the backup file (under online backup folder) and select the option “Download to device”. Attached there are printscreens / casts (due the size of the archives, it was compressed in 7z format). AttachmentC:\data\bakup.zip (444 Downloads) |

Will I be able to do any changes in the "backup" file? Or will I have to choose "upload " instead? Best Regards! |

Nice feature. But upload only with PLC in Stop? |

Сan PLC be programmed to automatically backup to a memory card ?
