TIP: Upload device as new station (hardware and software)

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 10/4/2024 Posts: 4349 Rating: (1446)	Hi, As from STEP7 V13 it is possible to upload an S7-1500 to PG/PC, including software, comments, symbolic information and hardware for S7-1500 (central modules and distributed periphery). To upload the project, it is necessary to have a connection with the PLC (test it with “online access”) and to open a project first (I suggest to create a new project as organization reason). After that, select the menu option “Online”->”Upload device as new station (hardware and software)…” The follow cast shows this procedure. If the project on PLC is created and loaded with Step7 V5 then a upload is not possible. Regards Christoph

Mark DG Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	you can upload a cpu300 hardware and its program block either your software is simatic manager v5 or in a TIA portal. just do the communication for the actual plc in your PC.. you can see the brief instruction on the software you are using.. In Regards , Mark DG
