Yoruk Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hello there, I'm trying to use the "welcome" title function to display a small message on a Logo! 8.FS4 module. (Firmware version 1.82.02). I created the message in the editor, then saved : But nothing appends at power up, I immediately have the date and time. Am I doing something wrong ? (EDIT : the system is configured to display "date and time" in the "power up" menu. I tried to show "inputs/outputs", same result) Thanks ! Attachment hello.jpg (69 Downloads)

If you want to see a special message when the LOGO! starts up then must you make message text with the lowest priority that always is active.

If this is not done, you can't transfer the program to a LOGO!, as you have already noticed. For digital blocks: - Either connect the digital output of the block to the input of another digital block. - Or use digital flags (M), digital outputs (Q) or open collectors (X). For analog blocks: - Either connect the analog output of the block to the input of another analog block. - Or use analog flags (AM), digital outputs (AQ). The only exceptions to this are flags and outputs (regardless of whether they are digital or analog). I'm sorry, but those are the rules. And I didn't do it, but Siemens ...

Support Gold Expert Joined: 9/19/2018 Last visit: 12/1/2023 Posts: 359 Rating: (41)	And LOGO! will need a connection to an output or virtual output in the future too, as the diagrams are calculated backwards form the outputs. If you check your diagram in LOGO! with menu edit…, you see the program starts with the outputs, M flags… In your case just add an open connector (X) to your block Message texts.
