TIWAY Configuration

Your card is installed in slot 2 of base 0 right ? Do the XMT / REC LEd's on the card show any activity ? If you want to remove this card it will not affect the functioning of the CPU program. To make it clean you should remove the configuartion of the card in the 505 I/O configuration.

Here is a link to download Softshop if you can't find yours. http://www.sea.siemens.com/us/products/automation/programmable-controllers/Pages/programmable-controllers-simatic-505-downloads.aspx SoftShop requires a dongle to run. If you can't find the dongle, SoftShop will run in demo mode to view the program. But you won't be able to save changes or download to the PLC. The TIWAY PC board was ISA form factor. So unless you have some old PCs with ISA bus,the PLCmay not be connected toanything. You could use TISoft to make the hardware changes. I posted a copy in the forum. It is DOS based. billwest
