TM-1703 Profibus-DP Master

HSIEH Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir, I have a project like this . Profibus DP Master is TM-1703 and CPU315-2DP is slave. I had check the document you mentioned ,But the problem is still there. Can You help me. My settings in S7 CPU315-2DP : Slave address=3 , baud rate= 19.2k , 4 bytes input by unit at slot 4 , 4 bytes outputby unit at slot 5 , connect to Master address=2 . Settings in Sycon: BUS baud rate= 19.2k , Optimize = standard . Master = SM-2545 , address = 2 , others by default . Slave address = 3 , DPV1 actived is check. insert first ID in general at slot 1 , second ID in general at slot2 , third ID in general at slot3,Master_o Slave_i 4 byte by unit at slot 4, and ,Master_i Slave_o 4 byte by unit at slot 5. then I according to help ,save them, export file with DBM extion. Go back to Toolbox II to do sicam 1703 trandsformer , Load parameter to AU. But no commnunication between 1703 and 315-2DP. Thank you in advence. Attachment sycon slave setting1.jpg (189 Downloads)

I have software TBII (vision 5) and sycon (vision 2.6). hardware : TM-1703 with SM-2545 + CM-2869 S7 315-2DP Settings in CPU315-2DP: configure as Profibus-DP Slave Slave address=3 , baud rate= 19.2k , 4 bytes input by unit at slot 4 , 4 bytes output by unit at slot 5 , connect to Master address=2 . Settings in Sycon: BUS baud rate= 19.2k , Optimize = standard . Master = SM-2545 , address = 2 , the others by default . Slave address = 3 , DPV1 actived is check. module insert as follow first ID in general at slot 1 , second ID in general at slot 2 , third ID in general at slot 3, Master_o Slave_i 4 byte by unit at slot 4, Master_i Slave_o 4 byte by unit at slot 5. Settings in TBII : AU = CP 6014 + SM2545/DPM00(install at M PRE 2) But no commnunication between 1703 and 315-2DP. Error message and all settings please check attachment file. You got a reply from the Slave. So the Parameters of the Bus should be ok. Maybe you could check the data send at the bus to see more details? For example by using the Amprolyzer Best regards Sabine

HSIEH Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear Hulzhex , Thanks for your reply. After I left message here ,I tested so many kinds combination of settings. It's still no communication between master and slave. Two days ago, I replace S7 315-2DP with IM153-1 & 4 Bytes DI module. Then TM-1703 and IM153-1 can work. I use IM153-1 GSD file in sycon of course. After that I go back to try TM-1703 and S7-315-2DP, The error message is the same and I still didn't know which part gose worng. I'm sure the GSD file of the CPU is right. The S7-315-2DP only download hardware. no any program inside. Is that ok?

This way you will have better disgnostics available to troubleshoot the connectivity and you can pinpoint the problem, whether it is with the GSD file or Configuration. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag
