Hello, 8014 means: 8014 - Failed to connect: You may have entered an incorrect mail server IP address (ADDR_MAIL_SERVER) or too little time (WATCH_DOG_TIME) for the connection. It is also possible that the CPU has no connection to the network or the CPU configuration is incorrect. Are you sure that the PLC is able to reach the SMTP server (mail server). Ifthe PLCis not located in the same IP subnet as the server, did you specify the router used by thePLC in the interface settings. And if you use a PC with same IP settings, can it reach the server using the same ethernet link? Use the "PING" or "TRACERT" commands in the PC to locate the error. Hello, I have same problem, my TM_MAIL is not working, and the commuicaton is stop with this error massege 8014. I can ping my PLC. And I also checked the smtp side, and I found this information in the log file of my test server: 29.09.2012 20:17:56} [10920] [Debug] 192.168.1.87:49158 Connected to us on port 25 {29.09.2012 20:17:56} [10920] [Debug] 192.168.1.87:49158 Connected to us on port 25 {29.09.2012 20:17:56} [10920] [Debug] 192.168.1.87:49158|25 -> 220 Welcome to ESMTP Server {29.09.2012 20:17:56} [10920] [Debug] 192.168.1.87:49158|25 <- H so after this the Siemens 1200 PLC is dropping the connection,but I don't understand why. I tryed to connect many different smtp server, and never workerd this function. And all server logged same things. Can you help me where is the problem? On the PLC side I maked every thing according to the siemens hand book, and according to the sample program that I found on this site. many thaks B. |
