I can confirm the problem with TIAV12SP1 and 1215 v3.02. TM_MAIL is able to connect to the smtp server but leaves the email address in the RCPT TO: sentence empty and therefor the smtp server disconnect with error. I do have a working TM_MAIL instr. with TIA V11 and 1214 v2.2. Here, FROM and TO: addresses need to be filled in strictly (see forum threads). Attachment is only working for small amounts of bytes. Seems to be a regression in V12. |

Confirmed, TM_MAIL only works on Tia Portal V11 SP2 REV5 with version 1.1 on function (1.0 doesn't work). After go to this TIA version and TM_MAIL version all works fine. |

Surprise, TM_MAIL is working in tia v12sp1upd2 and (1214 v2.2 or 1215 v3.02)! I tried a *new* prg and it worked. The problem could be using/upgrading an existing prj (v11/)? Not shure what's going on. Could you confirm you're using an existing proj? <rant> This is taking a /lot/ of time, randomly trying what is working and what's not. Maybe siemens has to pay us using tia instead of we them. v11sp2upd5 is workable and relatively stable for me (compared to previous versions). I 've used it in some projects (scl). Rarely I still loose code due to code completion goes to the dodo (please siemens make it optional till it's stable). During commisioning I get the dreaded 'Serious firmware exception' and have to (ask) repower the plc. Sometimes corrupt prj. But workable. Now, how is v12sp1upd2? Dare I us it? Firmware V4 anyone? Still code completion problems. Seems a tiny bit faster. Config of t(u)send/rcv in scl but not in mulit (nested) instance blocks. </rant> |
