Hello Divyesh, I assume you have configured an OPC server with Simatic NET. A cheap solution would be to use Visual Basic.NET or C# to connect to the OPC server and to Oracle and let this application read and write your variables. But...you'll have to be capable of programming something like this. MaybeIndustrial Databridge (which comes from the WinCC products) can also do this job for you. You might have a look here: https://www.automation.siemens.com/hmi/html_76/products/software/wincc_optionen/industrial-data-bridge.htm?HTTPS=REDIR For as far I can see, this databridge can be also used without WinCC (because it can also be used with WinCC Flexible), but maybe someone can confirm this. Regards, Ronald |

Hello, To access databases (using for instance ODBC), Siemens has an option of WinCC (that can be run with and without WinCC) called Industrial databridge. See announcement here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/30105978 And also in this manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/32107026 chapter 3.3.4 |
