Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (278)	When you pick up an object from the symbols library, it will not have the tool tip property. You need to create a customized object from your symbol and then insert the tool tip text property. Right click on the symbol to create a customized object as shown in theattachment. Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (278)	I am afraid this may not be possible. VBS comes in to play in an action of an event (like mouse click). Now, how to capture the event that you slided the mouse over an object? Tool tip is a Windows property incorporated in tomost WinCC objects. I do not know why, the people who built the symbols library chose not to expose the tool tip property? May I ask why you do not want to use customized objects? It is one of the most powerful conceptsin WinCC. Regards

FabioIT Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I have tried to customize the object (valve) and I have added the tooltip (as show in Phantom75's attachment), but when I launch the runtime the tooltip doesn't appear.Any suggest? P.S: I use wincc 6.2!

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (278)	Hi FabioIT, Do not There must be some simple explanation for your problem! Can you re-attach the jpg's? I cannot see anything in the second picture (tooltip2.jpg). Does the tooltip work for other WinCC objects? Make a test with a simple rectangle or circle. Does it work for Windows? Regards
