If you have an object which can rotate 360° in Runtime, the configured Tooltip Text is only shown on mouse over of the original position of the object (0°), this means you have to put the mouse on a position on the picture but the object is not located there at the moment. I hope it's clear what I mean. Is there any way to solve this or is this a bug in WinCC (version 7 SP2 Update 4)? |

Thanks Bizur for replying, I attached an example pdl (v7 SP2) and a brief description in PDF. On the left of the screen, you'll see a polygon with a default rotation angle. On that object, tooltip is shown in runtime wherever the object is at that moment. On the right, you'll see a customized object (containing 1 polygon & 1 polyline), configured quite the same but tooltip is only shown in runtime when mouse is over the original position, even when the customized object is shown at a complete different angle at that moment. I hope I made myself clear with the attached files in zip. Cheers AttachmentRotCusObj.zip (127 Downloads) |

Hello SteBo, well, my colleagues and me, we think it would be a good and useful thing, if this tooltip would be shown the way you described it. What you could do, is to contact SiemensTechnical Support, describe them the problem, and maybethey can give this information to development. Best regards Bizur |
