torque control and over speed

dear expert 

what will happen if the coupling of induction motor broken in torque control mode 

as i expected the motor will trip over speed 

wha ist the dangerous of this the motor will trip over speed protection or there another problem will happen it is first time to me to us torque control mode 

the drive is s120 and cu is cu 320 2pn

What do you meant by "Torque broken"?

Which is the application? Is it constant torque or variable torque?

In torque mode control the speed loop is saturated means if the shaft of motor became suddenly free the motor rev will be rise fast.

For avoid of this situation you should set two protection :

1- over speed limit

2-torque limit upper/lower

So now if during the torque control the coupling of motor broken these two protection will be help.
