In which 1 drive act as master and other is act as slave. i have read that in master slave configuration speed controller of the slave drive is bypassed and set point of slave drive is taken from master drive. i would like to know that how to do this? rating sinamics s120 with 710 kw rating. regds, vivek

You open torque stpoint page in the Starter, take the output of the speed controller in the Master drive (r1508) and send its value to the Slave drive(s) as a torque setpoint into P1503. In the Master drive P1501=0 or P1300=22, and for the Slaves P1501=1 OR P1300=22. Another simplier solution for drives working for common mechanical shaft, is to use Droop P1488. It will make the motors running in Vector control working with slip, and the drives will automatically share the load.
