rafael-ws Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	dear all My HMI 6AV6642-0AA11-0AX1 stopped the touch. Could someone tell me if I can replace the HMI by another equal and if I have to rewrite the logic? If replace with a SIMATIC HMI KTP600 BASIC MONO PN 6AV6647-0AB11-3AX0 be compatible? ... I'll need to rewrite the program? Thank you.

If you have your program on Wincc Flexible/TIA then you can change the Panel, when you compile it, it will show you some messages that can be easily solved . The only thing is that maybe you have to create/repair conecctions with your PLC tags.

You can convertTP177A into comfort panelusing TIA Portal v11 if you have configuration file of the program. Perhaps this link might help.

I'll need to rewrite the program? Thank you. Hello, Did you recalibrate the touch screen? If recalibration did not solve the problem, then the best solution is to migrate the panel to another one. You need the original configration file. Otherwise, you can buy only the LCD touch screen online. It's not too expensive. It may solve your problem. And if you perform reset to factory setting, you shouldperform "calibration". Follow instructions in the manual as adviced by Umencho (page 87) Hope this helps.
