i am having a problem with some text updating on a runtime with WinCC.

Programming Envoirement: Tia V15.1 with WinCC Advanced 15.1 Upd 3

HMI Panel: TP1200 Comfort

I have been working on site with a comfort panel for few weeks now and i have been changing things like texts, buttons, I/O fields and everything was going fine, until yesterday when i decided to change a text field and after downloading the HMI the text was not changing.

I tried doing a full rebuild of the HMI and a software download selecting the option "Software (All)" and the text field this time changed the layout and the text was now going outside the text field.

If i copy an existing text, let's say "Hello", paste it and change it to something else, when i download this text will be "Hello" instead of what i changed.

If i insert a new text field and change it, when i download, il will appear as Text and not what i wrote previously.

If i insert a new button that works fine.

Any explaination or solution to solve this issue ?

Please try to delete the IM folder, rebuild everything (hardware and software) again and see if the behavior persists.

Reviewing information, I have seen that Update 4 of the software has improved the behavior with Text Fields, so I recommend you update (to the last Update released, if possible -> Update 6).

Updates for STEP 7 V15.1 and WinCC V15.1

Specifically, 'Readme' file indicates:

"3.5.2 Improvements in Update 4:

Screen objects

- Working with text fieMds has been improved. ".

We tried updating our version to update 6 as suggested and now the text is updating correctly.
