Hi, we have a TP1500 comfort that I am just starting to experiment with the built in web pages known as Miniweb.
There is a handy hint on the landing page of the HMI that says "When the devicename contains an underscore ( _ ) some browsers have a bug that makes it impossible to log in.
One possible solution may be to use the IP address of the device instead of the name, or to use another browser."
I cannot use my preferred browser, chrome for this operation as I cannot log in presumably due to the bug above.
When I log in using IE apparently my device name is 'HMI_Panel'
Does anyone know where this can be set?
On TIA portal the name of the device is 'Acme HMI' (contains the name of the customer) there is no underscore and it is certainly not called 'HMI_Panel', so where is the panel getting this name that TIA portal itself knows is likely to cause compatibility issues?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi itafusna, thank you for your suggestion. I've had a look through the profinet names of the HMI in the project and there are a few interfaces but none of them contain 'HMI_Panel'
I will try that IM folder deletion at the next good opportunity and see if anything changes.

Sería escribir antes de la dirección IP de la pantalla el "https://"; A mi así me funciona en el Chrome.

Try logging into your browser with : https://direccionIP.

This would be typing ‘https://’ before the IP address on the screen; this is how it works for me in Chrome.
