TP177 Micro screen control

ScottWilliam Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello all, I am trying to figure out how to change screens from the program on my s7-200. With other screen types, I just load the new screen # to vw124 and then send the change command (51) to vb123. Easy. Unfortunately, I read the micro doesn't support this... So, is it possible or am I screwed? Thanks

Go to properties of tag1-> Events and use "Value change" -> Activate Screen by number. And then you can use a Tag2 to specify the screen you want to select. Best regards, Wizard

ScottWilliam Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the reply! I tried to get the screen to change using this method, but it isn't working. I am loading a screen # into vw124 as an integer, and I have that address referenced in the change value: Activate Screen by Number location. Once I have the new screen # loaded into vw124, am I supposed to change the value in the 2nd tag to something? The on-line instructions are unclear; it says change the value to -1 for the root screen and 0 for the permanent window. Not sure what that means. Do you have an example of the code I could take a look at in order to see how this is implemented? Thanks so much... I feel like I am 3/4ths of the way there. -Scott
