TP177A DO NOT DISCONNECT WHILE CIRCUIT IS LIVE

I disconnected the live circuit PPI cable without shutting down the HMI, Now the problem is i can't download program to the simatic panel.....the error display shows that "it can't establish due to cable I can not perform the transfer or communication with the cpu. Just got the connection fault message. I think there was damage to the port. Could someone please help me.
