TP177A DP, and AUMATIC on profibus with CPU 314-2PN

aante Posts: 55 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I have cpu 314-2pn (with DP and PN) connected with TP 177A (it can be MPI or DP) and wit AUMATIC flat gate. TP177A (connector A, resistor on) ----------- CPU (connector A) (connector B), resistor off -------- AUMATIC (connected without connector), resistor on CPU as master, adress 1 TP 177 A, communication set as DP, slave, adress 2, speed 1.5M AUMATIC as DP slave, adress 3, speed automatic TP 177 A project is not included in step7 project, but connection and tags are "correctly" set AUMATIC have installed GSD file, and it is shown at HW configuratio. Can this configuration work, and where to be carefully while commisioning?

I do not understand (connector A) and (connector B), I think A1-B1 and A2-B2 on the CPU right?

Can I be sure that this will work under profibus (when it is configurated correctly)? Main question about not being shure that this will work is heare because of not using any special FCs for communicating. For CPU - AUMATIC I plan to use I/O adreses of aumatic that is generated in HW configuration, and for CPU - TP I plan just to programm connection and tags in TP (wincc flexible) Yes A and B ia A1B1 and A2B2....

What kind of AUMATIC you use? i planed to connect tp to mpi, but i got cpu -2pn, that have only one rs485 (probibus of mpi) and profinet connector that is why i plan to put it all on profibus...... aumatic is acexc 01.2 non-intrusive
