Hi

In one of our project we have used TP177B mono. It was working well till yesterday. All on a sudden the touch functionality was become inactive. The touch functionaliy is not active and there is no response for the touch. Then I used USB mouse to access the HMI. I could able to navigate and all other functionalities like alarms etc are active.

I have done OS update and downloaded the backup again. But the touch function was not active. Is this the Hardware fault? Is there any remedy?

I think this a hardware problem. Is all touch surface inactive? You can try to change positions of some function or clean the touch surface. About cleaning read part 11 of manual. TP 177B.And in the future you can use protective membrane (part 11.1.2). This is only ways to repair this panel -

of course my advice is: change this panel with new one.
