TP270 Still freeze in boot page (not coming to desktop) after OS updated

Som NaMon Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir i'am a newer of SIEMENS HMI, i try to update OS via prosave but during updating , the power plug is disconnect , and When HMI restart , it's still freeze in boot page (not coming to desktop) (as attached picture) , and i try to solve this problem with many method but it not worked example. 1. OS update by prosave via PC adapter MPI/DP (Message shown tocheck cable,...) 2. OS update by prosave viaRS232 IF1, IF2by USE RS232 cable with real port(Message shown to check cable...) and i saw many topic to said about RS-232/Zero Modem , i want to know it can update os when HMI is freeze in booting page or not? , Pls. advise sorry, my English in not good... Zero Modem Cable MLFB is:6ES7 901-1BF00-0XA0, or you can do it your self and here's bellow the pin assignment of the cable: What is the serial cable assignment for transferring the configuration to a Windows-based device? Hope this helps.

Som NaMon Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Thank you very much for your help, but i want to know more information , your sugguest solution can transfer when TP270 still freeze in boot page or not? or another , because now TP270 show boot page only and cannot go to OS windows's desktop. both of your solution i will try tomorrow and I will back to infrom the result. In fact it's your last option, next step is to send the panel for repair. Regards, Marcjan

Som NaMon Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear friend sorry for my lated, the result of os update via rs232zero modem cable is worked, more detail... 1.plug cable to real comport in my PC to TP270 2. boot the hmi and hmi is freeze in boot message 3. open prosave program in my pc and select communication of comport, type of HMI TP270 and mark. clear program as factory reset, and click start restore, 4. in hmi show message request to reboot, and then plug reboot the hmi again 5.after reboot , hmi show progressing for update and in prosave show progressing update too 6. wait..... 7. finish and hmi is automatic restart and go to desktop again remark. the cable i will make as your diagram, and i thing the number of your diagram is wrong and i make by see the position of pin instead Thank you Somchai Thank you very much
