TP700 address error

Hi all,

I am simulating TP700 comfort touch panel together with CPU 1516 using TIA V14 SP1 and I am getting PLC Adress Error (error no. 190004). 

When I start the simulation in an opening screen I get a system message that connection to PLC is established, but when open screen with actual tag values and commands I get this error. I already changed the the access mode to absolute addressing, which shouldn't really be a problem during simulation.

Any ideas? Thanks!

You are simulating the panel.

And do you have a Real PLC?

Please check the PG/PC interface. (Go to control panel of PC)

It should use the Ethernet card of PC.

yes, I'm simulating the TP and a have a real PLC. I just checked the PG/PC interface and it really seems to be set up correctly.

the error message only shows one tag, so I tried to delete it, but then it showed the error for another tag, so I suppose it's related to all the tags and shows only the first one it encounters.

Please try to make a simple project. Just 1 screen and 1 tag connected to S7-1500.

Can you simulate this project? Are you getting the right value on your screen?

Can you check the properties of CPU1516.

Go to properties -> Protection & Security -> Connection mechanisms

Is the "Permit access with ......" selected?

I figured it out, the problem was in the hardware config, the TP's were connected to a wrong interface. Shame on me
