 Hi,

It's possible to reload the image of the panel using "pro save", and i think you got pro save on your computer even if you never use it, this software have been installed with step7.

You just need to find the CD of the image....  do you have this CD??

 Hi,

Maybe the panel adress has been lost..?? and you can't find it...

Follow the link, everything is on the link, if you got the CD of panel, use it in combination with ProSave and reload the OS.

Also try to check the PG/PC interface, if you try to connect to the panel using USB, check if the PG/PC Setting is correct.

 Hi,

Parameter assignment , what are you using TIA or Step7 v5, if you change the interface from step7 v5 you don't need to set anything else, just click on S7USB it's enought, from TIA i don't remember but it might be the same.

In all case everything is describe here .

If you can't load from the USB interface, it's also possible to do that using MMC and restore the panel using the MMC see=> Here

Sorry if i don't answer exactly to the question but it's difficult for me because i'am not with you, and it's difficult to imagine the situation.

It's midnight in my place so i gonna sleep, and i will back tomorrow in order to help you, don't worry it's not a big problem and we will find a solution to this issue, just be tenacious you got nothing to loose and if you can't repair the panel just resend it to Siemens...

Please make the interface in Prosave to be Ethernet. This will enable you to make factory reset using Mac Address of the TP700.

S7-USB is not suitable for factory reset of this panel based on the attached excel sheet of the following link.
