Hi,

I want to simulate my program with operator panel. When i change the communication type to ethernet, there is no problem. But when i try to communicate with MPI, HMI device can not communicate with PLC. (values are displayed as ####) I already change interface settings from PN/IE to MPI. I also change if from "control panel>>set pg-pc interface" to MPI.  

PLCSIM V13 SP1 is also installed in my PC, but when i click to start simulation, the previous version of PLCSIM opens, which is S7 PLCSIM V5.4 SP5 Upd3 

I also change the interface settins grom PLC SIM interface box. With MPI interface, i can communicate with PLC, i can get online to blocks. But i can not communicate HMI. 

Am i doing sth wrong or missing?

for S7-300 always the old PLCSIM is use, the PLCSIM V13 is only for S7-1200 / S7-1500.

But at the moment is not really clear what yo have exactly for a configuration.

Would you simulate both devices (TP and CPU ) or only one ?

If booth then check that you use the right settings for PG/PC Interface S7ONLINE (PLCSIM.MPI or PLCSIM.TCP/IP).

And also i select the PLCSIM.MPI in the interface settings.

As i said, it works when i select ethernet, but it does not work with MPI.

have you reconfigure the HMI Connection to MPI in the TIA Project or is it always ETHERNET?

Can you provide a screenshot of the HMI Connection Setting of our project?

Here are the screenshots of our project. I guess the problem is PLCSIM. because, when i click HMI >> Online&Diagnostics >> Online Access, ther eis only PN/IE option. Instead, there must be MPI connection. What can be the reason, in order not to see other connection types in that combo box?

in Online&Diagnostic you can only set the interfaces which ar provide by you PC.
If you have no PROFIBUS or MPI Adapter in you PC then you can only configure PN/IE here.

But that's no problem because this informations and settings hav nothing to do with which interface the HMI will communicate with the PLC.
On the HMI there is a "Connection" tab, here you configure the communication between PLC and HMI.
From this i need the screenshot!

yes we are on the right way 

now let us see the properties of the HMI_Connection_1 to control the settings.

And check which settings you have in Windows Control Panel -> set PG/PC Interface for the S7ONLINE Acess Point.
