layudhi Posts: 60 Rating: (1)	actually, i must transfer all Simatic License to a new Engineering Station since existing PC is used as Public PC that located on the meeting room on my company the error code said that the license can not be transfered, pleaseprovidecorrect medium - my existing PC has Floppy Drive but can not be used, its broken, so i use USBstick

Wasp Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Hi layudhi This error message you are experiencing is because the medium you are trying to transfer the licence keys to is not the original medium on which they were suppied. If you have the original medium then try find a way to use this. If it is a floddy disc you could opt for a usb powered floppy drive, they pretty cheap, to overcome your problem of the broken floppy drive. Hope this helps

Dear layudhi, I guess you have an Authorisation, you want to transfer. You can not transfer an Authorisation to an USB stick. Only a Floating License can be transfered to an USB stick. Have a look at the second link, mentioned by UMENCHO. You can use the company network to transfer the Authorisation or Floating License to another PC. Have a look at online help of Automation License Manager. Best regards, Wizard
