Transfer license to new laptop

Basimi Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I installed the Logo Soft Comfort on my laptop with a (old) DVD. During the years I’ve updated this to the 8-version. But now I’ve a new laptop and I’m unsure if it is possible to transfer the license to the new laptop (and how that has to be done). Also complicating factor is that the new laptop obviously doesn’t have a DVD-reader anymore. Hope someone can guide me in the right direction.

If your old laptop works, make a image of the CD/DVD and transfer the image on a USB stick. Download the current version of LSC from this Siemens web site: Download for LOGO! 8.3 Software Upgrade But the download is export restricted: Why do you have to log in and register for downloading export-restricted software and what data do you need for this? Then follow the instructions of this Siemens FAQ: How do you install a downloaded upgrade for LOGO!Soft Comfort with or without installed LOGO! software?
