TRANSFER OF 16 BOOL VALUE TO WORD VALUE

Jazz_M Gold Member Joined: 9/6/2008 Last visit: 5/7/2022 Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	HI ALL I HAVE CREATED A BLOCK FB10, IN WHICH I HAVE CONFIGURED 16 ALARMS , I HAVE TO TRANSFER THIS 16 BOOL ALARMS TO A WORD VALUE AS EACH TIME I CALL THIS BLOCK WITH INSTANCE , CAN SOME ONE TELL WHAT HAS TO BE DONE

If alarms is configured in M area one by other in sequence then you don't it to transfer anywhere, just use whole word. For example: if alarms is from M0.0 to M1.7 then you can use MW0 and get all alarms. If alarms is configured in M area, but not in sequence then you can copy them like this: [code] A M3.0 =M0.0 A M10.4 =M0.1 ... and so on [/code] If you configured alarms as parameters of FB then you can copy them as described above or if they configured in sequence as parameters (I mean the have address for example L0.0 to L1.7) then you can copy them like this: [code] LLW0 T MW0 (or whatever you want) [/code]

Darius Platinum Member Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 5/2/2023 Posts: 2957 Rating: (242)	Hi, Your H_WORD starts at L10.0, so you can do: [code] A #IN1 =L11.0 A #IN2 =L11.1 A #IN3 =L11.2 A #IN4 =L11.3 A #IN5 =L11.4 A #IN6 =L11.5 A #IN7 =L11.6 A #IN8 =L11.7 A #IN9 =L10.0 A #IN10 =L10.1 A #IN11 =L10.2 A #IN12 =L10.3 A #IN13 =L10.4 A #IN14 =L10.5 A #IN15 =L10.6 A #IN16 =L10.7 [/code] But keep in mind that if you create new variables in FB declaration your H_WORD will change address from 10.0 to something else, so if you want to avoid this use M area instead of L in example above and write this at the end of above example: [code] ..... L MW10 (or other free M address to which you copied alarms) T #H_WORD [/code]
