transfering data with OP7

karolewsky Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I also have trouble with transfering data with OP7. What I try to do is to make a backup copy using prosafe. I have PG field m3. I use siemens cable 6es5734-2bf00. I switch the power on on the OP7 and press "ESC" + "cursor up" buttons. Then it goes to the transfer mode. I chose the com1, transfer rate 9600 on prosafe application and start backup button. But it alerts that it can't establish the connection. In manager device settings I have default settings. Do You know what can be wrong? Thanks in advance Best regards Karol

Thanks in advance Best regards Karol Hello Karolewsky, Which OP7 You have OP7 PP or OP7 DP, if you have OP7 PP then you can used the 6ES5 734-2xxxx Cable, if you have OP7 DP then you have to used the RS232 Cable to Download /Upload to OP. Have a look on the link for more Detail. What transfer options are available in the various operator panels? For Pin out. because I dont Find the Product No for the OP7 DP Download Cable. In past I have build the Cable & used for download. Some for Truble you have to take to Creat the cable...
