Hello guimchevalier I'm using PCS7 v7.1 and I hope they don't differ at this level. To translate PH Areas in PCS7 you need to select one project in which those Areas were created and go to menu Options -> Manage Multilingual Texts -> Export... Choose Source and Target language. You would be changing Area names of that Target language. Text Type of Area's names is Text Display -> S7UserTexts. So if you need to translate just the PH names, you may deselect other types. Then you'll get S7UserTexts.xls file. Open it and search for the Area names. Change texts only in the second (in the right) column and leave the first column unchanged cause the first column is the Source one, it is the index, the link. Save file, close it and go back to SIMATIC Manager, go to menu Options -> Manage Multilingual Texts -> Import... After compilation of the OS Station you will get the translated Plant Hierarchy Areas. If you have several AS projects and some Areas were created in other project, than in the present project (that you are translating now) you could have additional PH folder — it is marked with an arrow as a Shortcut in Windows. So you should not change Area names of that folder. Change only current project's Areas. P.S. All the texts that could be exported from AS project shoud be translated in this way — by Export operation from the SIMATIC Manager. You could watch video example Good Luck |
