Hello Willian and Daniel, How can we trasfer "from db100.dbw100 -to - db100dbw120" value from master to "DB200.DBW200 to DB200.DBW220" into slave PLC. Vice versa from slave "from db100.dbw100 -to - db100dbw120" value to "DB200.DBW200 to DB200.DBW220" of master. Master PLC S71215C + CM1243-5 Slave PLC S71214C + CM1242-5 Thanks!

The good news is that several Ethernet based protocols can exist on the same network. A network switch can allow several devices to link together. To that end... some general information:

Dear Ste39, I have not had the need to work with Profibus on the S7-1200 family yet. So I was a bit curious if this setup can be configured for S7-communications (Put/Get). If my results are correct - I have bad news. If you have two CM1243-5 .. Attached is a very rough project to represent S7-1200s with The Master to Slave has been configured via IO links and on the Master the IO is copied to structured DB100 and DB200. The Master to Master only has the S7-communication link configured in hardware. If you want to expand and correct any mistakes in the project.. more than welcome. Greetings. Hello William, Oh s**t, sorry my mistake you're right, how did I not see it 7.6.1 Communications services of the PROFIBUS CMs The PROFIBUS CMs use the PROFIBUS DP-V1 protocol. Types of communication with DP-V1 The following types of communication are available with DP-V1: ●Cyclic communication (CM 1242-5 and CM 1243-5) Both PROFIBUS modules support cyclic communication for the transfer of process data between DP slave and DP master. Cyclic communication is handled by the operating system of the CPU. No software blocks are required for this. The I/O data is read or written directly from/to the process image of the CPU. S**t I have found some Topic is not the exact same but: S7 1200 and DPRD_DAT help - Industry Online Support - Siemens Using SFC14 and SFC15 in 1200 program. - Entries - Forum - Industry ... (smile) If you are going to use it too - (bigger smile) I am however not fully sure why we have the functionality of SFC14 and SFC15 still available when the data is configured in the hardware configuration to map to IO. Hopefully you can later shed some light on that subject. I am however concerned using the Profibus link to exchange much bytes in the way i have configured the sample program... it can cripple the scan cycle time if not careful. Greetings. |

Hello vaggmin, From the screenshot you have not loaded the DB 201,please first download DB 201 into CPU! or you have already did? |
