moelsayed Experienced Member Joined: 7/21/2015 Last visit: 9/27/2022 Posts: 100 Rating: (2)	Dear All, I am using TRCV in TIA-PORTAL-V15 in CPU 1500 to receive data from ANOTHER CPU 1500. they are communicating to each other over open-communication _tcp-native. i am trying to assign one DB to receive data on it but i couldn't as in attachment. according to TIA-PORTAL help i can do that but I don't know why I couldn't ? how can I do that. moelsayed. Then you can set recv buffer with only f.ex. "DATA" name without any other structure element. Update: made little test between 2 S7-1500 via PLCSIM Advanced and working perfectly!

You need uncheck optimized access of RCV and SEND DBs and also set name of DBs to TRCV and TSEND blocks as is described. Recompile,download changes and make tests.
