Trend for Bool variables

ranr_mids Bronze Member Joined: 12/5/2005 Last visit: 8/9/2021 Posts: 289 Rating: (19)	Hi. You should be able to create a 'pen' for each boolean tag, and then in the General tab of the trend control select the 'Display Trends Staggered' option. This will give each pen it's own X axis.

If I make each boolean tag on each boolean variable, then my archive is so large, and License of archive tags expiered.How i make trendof my_variable&0x0001, my_variable&0x0004..., my_variable&mask. The mask and variabledefined in script. My_variable is archive or online tag . Thanks

What you would need to do, is write a script to 'seperate' a PLC word tag into internal bit tags, then you could trend the internal tags.

If you set up a trend with a group of generic bit tags, then use a script to grab and split a specified word tag and send it to the trended bits, it would work.

Also don't forget to change the pen display on the Curves tab to Fill Area Stepped Trend gre_m, don't forget that you can manually plot data onto a trend. I don't know if this will be useful to you but it may be an option. Regards, Salma
