Hi, First you create data log with desired tags, then configure a trend view and connect it to a created data log. Well your question is too general, so maybe its better idea for you just to look at the help system which will guide you on creating data logs and trends.

My only requirement ishow to retrive the logged datafrom a database in trend form....

You still need to configure historical data for use it with trends. Please look at the possibilities of tag logging to historical log. It is quite flexible I think. You can control with script when to start or stop log and you can log tags based on change, not on time if you need.

It is like that getting reports date wise or batch wise only the report should be in trend form.itwill be nothing but history trend.

It is like that getting reports date wise or batch wise only the report should be in trend form.itwill be nothing but history trend. I don't know if it will work, but you can create a historical log then add needed tags, but never start logging to it. Instead you can write values for a tags by a script to that log's .csv file like is described here How can you write data to a file or read data from a file by means of a script on a Comfort Panel with SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal)? This is some kind of workaround and has no idea if it will work. Generally speaking trends can show data from a data logs. Nothing more. Try to find some other way.

You can't generate old data in a form of thrend unless it is configured into the historical data log.
