TRIED TO DIAGNOSTIC AN IM 308C CARD

habacuc Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	HI IM NEW WITH SIMATIC S5 AND I TRIED TO DIAGNOSTIC AN IM 308C CARD. THIS CARD MANAGE 8 SLAVES ET200M AND IT HAS THE LED "BF" TURN ON, IN THE OTHER SIDE THE IM153-1 HAS THE SAME FAILURE "BF" TURN ON. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE SIGNALS CONNECTED IN THE I/O'S SLAVEDONTRESPOND.COULD SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEM? CPU 6ES5 948-3UR28 IM 63S5 308-3UC11 THANKS

The IM 308-C starts up (BF (bus fault) LED flashes) and transfers the slave parameters entered in COM PROFIBUS to the DP slaves. The IM 308-C then compares the configuration created using COM PROFIBUS with the actual configuration. The BF LEDs of the connected DP slaves must go off. If there is data transfer between all the configured DP slaves and the IM 308-C, the BF LED of the IM 308-C also goes off. About diagnostic it's possible to be done with COMPROFIBUS software. How to do this, look at the same manual. Also diagnostic is possible in Step5 software, but you need the FB IM308C function block to read the diagnostics data. (Entry ID:113141). FINALLY, I GET TO DIAGNOSTIC MY PROFIBUS NETWORK THROUGHOUT A PG 740 PIII WITH COM PROFIBUS, BUT I'VE SOME QUESTIONS???COULD YOU HELP ME WITH SOME COMMENTS, PLS??? 1.IN COM PROFIBUS, WHEN I START THE STATUS/CONTROL COMMAND I GET THE AI CARD'S STATUS (CARD 6ES7331-7KF01-0AB0) BUT THE STATUS IN SOME CARDS MARKS "7FFD" CODE AND THE INPUTS DONT UPGRADE, LIKE THE INPUTS WERE DISABLE OR OVERANGED. 2. I CHANGE THE CARD FOR ANOTHER, BUT THE 6ES7331.7KF01-0AB0 WAS DISCONTINUED AND THE 6ES7331-7KF02-0AB0 REPLACED IT. WHEN I DID IT THE SIGNALS START TO UPGRADE. IS T CORRECT THIS???
