I'm facing a bit of a conundrum with my HMI Comfort Panel, and I'm hoping some of you might be able to help. Here's the issue: I've been trying to read and write values to a PLC Data Type tag directly from a script in the HMI panel. However, it seems that I can only update the values when I add these tags directly to an I/O Field, which can be quite a cumbersome task as I have a large number of variables. The situation is a bit frustrating since I would prefer to interact with these tags directly from a script, which would be much more efficient and manageable in my case. But so far, my attempts haven't been successful. Is there a way to access these PLC Data Type tags and update them directly from a script without having to add each one to an I/O Field individually? I'd greatly appreciate any insights or advice on how to overcome this hurdle. If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has any suggestions, please feel free to share your thoughts. Your help will be highly valued. AttachmentPROBLEM.pdf (356 Downloads) |
