Hello, About being online "regularly", we are people who check contribution of others and provide feedback and suggest corrective actions for Moderators.About TIA , I am in developing mode and getting more familiar with software platform.Plus all manuals available ,I also recommend reading the following books which are published officially on TIA: 1- Automating with SIMATIC S7-1200 2-Automating with SIMATIC S7-300 inside TIA Portal 3-Automating with SIMATIC S7-400 inside TIA Portal (June 2013) Hope to enjoy being part of this community! Hello, Normally,I prefer using STEP7 because still there is some points to be adapted with.as I consulted section 15.2.4 of THIS Reference. For uploading a project from a S7 300 CPU, it is necessary to complete a suitable hardware in TIA and go online to the project and select ONLINE-->UPLOAD FROM DEVICE.But I think the best way is to upload the project with STEP7 and if you want to work further on that, migrate it in TIA.For migration, you need both TIA Portal and STEP7.If you want to be sure for all support hardware for TIA check the catalog inside program or a list that be found here by search.
