KOURTZAAR_HRA Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Hello I trying to install SQL SERVER 2000 (WINCC) SP 3 and I have the following message when the procedure is in 54% "Setup has detected that unInstallShild is in use.Please closeunInstallshield and restart setup.Error 432.".I have done all thing in this treat but nothing.There are any solution for this?

Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (150)	One quick solution would be to use WinCC SP4 instead [:P] If you are unable to upgrade theyou can try the following : 1. uninstall SQL Server completely, delete the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server folder and registry entries listed in this FAQ. 2. Ensure your PATH environment variable is not too big as mentioned in this FAQ 3. Copy the CD contents to your hard drive and run the install from there. If so then you could try reinstalling MDAC, procedure detailed in part of this FAQ 3. Also what operating system are you running ? 4.Finally are you logged on as the localadministrator and NOT logged onto a domain ? Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (150)	If you read the release notes / installation guide for WinCC you will see that it does not support the installation when logged onto a domain. I believe the procedure is to log on to the local machine and do the install. So firstly you must know the password for the Administrator account on your machine ( sorry I can't help there ! ). Then at the log-on page enter Administrator for the username and your password and change the drop-down box to log on to the "<computer name> (this computer)" entry. KOURTZAAR_HRA Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	New hard disc allow to me to install SQL server and Wincc 6.0 sp 2 without any problem.If I want to upgrate the wincc v6.0 sp 2 to sp 4 first I should load sql 2000 sp 4 and after wincc 6 sp4 ok?But first must to uninstall the older sql and wincc sp 2?
