Hello all,

I tryed to integrate a .gif image in a "Graphic view" project. The image have been uploaded in the project as library object and as graphic project image. None of these methods worked calling the image with the "graphic viewer" tool. The image show the first frame, but the animation won't start.

This is an extract of the Siemens TIA Portal V18 integrated guide, in reference to Unified.

The "Graphic view" object is used to display graphics.Use the following graphic formats in the "Graphic view" object: *.bmp, *.ico, *.gif, *.tiff, *.png, *.svg, *.jpeg, *.jpg. The graphic format *.gif is displayed animated. You can also use graphics as OLE objects in the Graphic view.

I'm launching the runtime on Edge, and other gif images are correctly visible inside the browser.
What could be the cause of this problem?

In general, try to use SVGsin Unified, this is what it's mailny designed for.

In this case it sounds like a chache problem.
- try to clear the browser cache and retry loading the HMI
- in general it usually works better with Chrome, there are definately more bugs with Edge
