It is allowed dear Simotionand a "re-use" of "ISO-1" happens by default for a newISO connection to another PLC. The question in your case is: What TSAP's were originally configured in the partner PLC (perhaps they didn't match after you replaced the CPU and CP and started off with default values)? Anyway, below are the "rules"governing ISO connections which aretaken straightfrom the S7-CPs for Industrial Ethernet Configuring and Commissioning Manual Part A − General Application manual, (seechapter 5.4 for more): An ISO transport connection is specified by the local and remote connection endpoint. Local addresses: Local MAC address and local TSAP During configuration of the local and remote TSAPs, defaults (can be changed) are proposed (for example, ISO−1 for the first connection between two partners). If new connections are configured between the same partners, the default values are automatically incremented (for example ISO−2 etc.). With a new connection to a new partner, the value ISO−1 is used again. I hope this helps |

Hi Yes, each connection needs to have a unique address on the sending side and the receiving side. Krish |
