First of all I hope that i dont spam the forum with my question. Tried to find an answer but didnt manage to.

I'm coding an STX ETX protocol on TCP but first of all i want to write an FB managing the connection, sending and reciving itself.

Using TCON, TSEND, TRCV and TDISCON.

What Id like to ask is if one need to take into account the status of TSEND and TRCV by the means of TSEND.Busy and TRCV.Busy ?

Can the CPU always 'listen' on paramertised connection with TRCV.En_R (TRUE) and only response with TSEND.Req after the protocoll frame was filled and the data is ready to send or should first the TRCV.EN(FALSE) be negated to free the connection resources before calling TSEND block.

Or is it irrelevant because the CPUs firmware does the job already?
