TUV Certificate for IM153-2 HF

A TÜV certificate is issued for safety-related automation equipment.
The IM 153-2HF is a "high-featured" interface module for Profibus-DP, and is not invloved directly in safety functions (although safety modules can be installed on the distributed rack, depending on whether the controlling CPU is safety-related).

Look for certificates in the Entries page; there are some ATEX and UL certificates for hazardoous zones, but nothing from TÜV.

From this description you see that the transmission of safety communications is independant of the bus and I might add from the communication equipment transfering the data.
So the IM 153-2HF is not "involved" in the transmission of safety communications when there are safety elements on its rack.
