Two CPU 315-2PN/DP communication via PN Port - Problems with connection

Michael Huang Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello, J_Bell: I use two CPU315-2 PN/DP,connected via ethernet with PN port, andalso use the open TCP sample.....but can't be connect..... question:the Local port and remote port is 2000? Can't be find in H/W configuration?

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello Michael, I think we have to spend some thoughts on the strategy you are about to use. The use of configured Connections with Send / Receive is not possible with the PN Interfaces. The Connections for the PN Interface are not made in the classical way, with NetPro, but within a DB to be more flexible and to use the connection resources dynamically. To get the DB you need to run the Connection you may use the Open Communication Wizard provided here at the Customer Support pages. This DB contains than all your required Configurations. The following Samples show you how to use this: How is a TCP connection programmed for open communication via Industrial Ethernet? How do you program an ISO-on-TCP connection for open communication via Industrial Ethernet? How do you program the communication blocks FB67 "TUSEND", FB68 "TURCV", FB65 "TCON" and FB66 "TDISCON" in order to use the UDP protocol for data exchange via the integrated Industrial Ethernet interface of an S7-300 or S7-400 CPU?
