UDF input and output of a direct connection

Error message: "Incompatible connectors" Although, I had done this before ..when you want I-Q connect directl, then you can not connect and when re-raise, then you can. The question is: is a direct connection between the I_Q is normal, or should be avoided ? Attachment UDF-W-M1.lma.zip (161 Downloads)

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, some Blocks cannot be used in a UDF. I and Q for example. Basically a UDF is like other special functions. I and Q has to be connected to the inputs and outputs of a UDF but are not allowed inside a UDF. A message text is also not possible in a UDF. However when you create a UDF from existing code and you want to use one of this forbittenFB you get a clear message. Hope this helps
