Hello, UDP can be used for sure over de PN port of a CPU319. There is a wizard available for creating the connection parameters. The same wizard allows to configure UDP and TCP connections over the PN port. Look here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/25209116 There is also a sample project available in the mentionned link. On the PC you connec to, you could install a free protocol tracer like wireshark (see www.wireshark.org) The protocol tracer would allow you to see if the PLC sends some packets towards the PC. |

I'm searching over a week for the udp communication, and now I allready know a lot more about it. Many thanks for the quick response! But It still doesn't work. I've initialized all parameters but it still doesn't work. Even setting up the local connection (FB65). When I trigger the 'REQ' with an input, alle outputs done, bussy and error stay in state '0' The statusrepport is '7000' and in the manual it saids: ' Call with REQ=0, establishment of connection not initiated' AttachmentAfe0607.zip (313 Downloads) |
