Ultramat 23 CO2 problem

rastafier Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	dear all, I would like to seek some advice regarding the Ultramat23 analyzer I'm using. During the calibration of the analyzer, I noticed that for CO2 measured value drifted from the supposed value. I suspected that maybe the CO2 receiving chamber is faulty and replaced it. However during the replacement, I found out that the existing chamber is different from the newly purchased. The existing chamber is C79451-A3468-B26 but the new is C79451-A3468-B526. I have checked on the manual and its states that the CO2 chamber for the analyzer is C79451-A3468-B526. When the chamber is replaced, 2 alarms were displayed on the analyzer which is: 1) Fault of addresses for IR channels 2) Phase not found. I noticed also that there are 2 jumpers on the new sensor as compared to 3 on the existing sensor. I tried to play about with the jumpers on the new chamber but its still the same. Any advice from anyone on this??

Kauber Regular Member Joined: 11/20/2007 Last visit: 6/16/2023 Posts: 25 Rating: (3)	Dear Rastafier, the order no.: C79451-A3468-B26 (Original CO2-Detector) is the same detector as: C79451-A3468-B526 (Sparepart CO2-Detector). You have to set the jumper on the new Detector as on the Original CO2-Detector. Kauber

rastafier Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the reply Kauber. Do you mean that the B526 chamber is the replacement for the B26 chamber? As i mentioned earlier, the B526 chamber has only 2 jumper terminals as compared to B26 chamber which has 3 terminals. I have tried to 'play' with the jumpers but the fault message still remains.

B526 is the sparepart number, this detector was tested in the factory with another analyzer. On B526 X3 is not used. The jumper on X1=channel 1; X2=channel 2; X1and X2= channel 3. (X3=single one); (X1= middle one); (X2=right one). On the motherboard you have to install channel 1=X35; channel 2=X36; channel 3=X37. You have also toinstall the Original restistor into the new detector. In the Display: first line=channel 1; second line=channel 2; third line=channel 3; fourth line=channel 4 (reserved for O2, if installed)
