Unable to detect the 5G module

Keele Advanced Member Joined: 6/14/2019 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Hi, I was using 1 IOT2050 : 6ES7647-0BA00-0YA2 + 1 Quectel 5G modem which is RM520N-GL. But when i'm checking the modem status, it show me modem not found by using command mmcli -L & nothing appear by using dmesg \| grep modem. Should i install any linux driver to enable to modem? Thanks.

You can add them in the meta-iot2050 layer on GitHub and build the image on your own. Another option would be using a card which is known to be supported. An overview can be found here.
