But during download to module in STEP 7, I am getting the error: Download (288:47) Unable to reach the module CPU 315-2 PN/DP via the online interface This is fresh set up, i have just installed everything (STEP 7 and Automatic License manager). Could you please let me know what i am missing here. Really appreciate help/suggestion here. Thanks, Manish...

Once detected change it to new one, the one which you have defined in hardware configuration. Then firstdownload hardware only. Else there is always option of downloading using using MPI cable or using CP5711.

Now, Open Set "PG PC interface" and ensure that you have selected Correct "TCP-IP" interface. Hope after this you will be able to solve the problem.

Hello JM Can you please tell us how to locate this GSD Directoryin Hardidsk? i mean the location of GSD Directory. i didnot find it.
